A brief history

Natasha's House LLC was created to pay homage to Mrs. Natasha Lynn McKinney.

My name is Maisha, I am a domestic violence counselor that has experienced firsthand the tragic effects of domestic violence. My little cousin Natasha’s life was taken due to domestic violence, so I started Natasha’s House LLC as a way to keep her memory alive and help others. At Natasha's House we approach our work with love, passion and operate in forgiveness with purpose. In 2019 the State of Ohio alone suffered 109 fatalities due to domestic violence. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner and 72% of all murder-suicides involved an intimate partner; 94% of the victims of these crimes are female. Domestic violence is real, and our hope is to make a change, one thought, one behavior and one heart at a time by educating our clients, incorporating effective communication skills, personal development, positive coping skills and self-care. In our opinion domestic violence can be avoided and here at Natasha’s House it is our dream to be a society free of violence one client at a time.

Our Mission

At Natasha's House LLC we are known as the "empathic farmers". We pride ourselves on planting seeds of positivity, self awareness, self acceptance, accountability, and responsibility. We provide education and information to help our clients grow into the person they would like to become vs. the person they were when we met them.

We believe that love should never hurt!
